Def started with 40) on my entire property and it is very lush and dark green and growing great, I applied it about 4 weeks ago and after about two weeks things really started to pick up.

Try clovers or honestly any native ground covers in your area. My whole yard is native ground covers at this point, and I still have to mow because HOA, but it’s an imperfect expanse to begin with due to the different plants there, and most of them flower! So when mowed it’s still ‘trim and green’ but not uniform, and we have four small dogs, now I can’t tell where they go outside anywhere! Bonus, now there are tons of bees all the time and I swear our other flowers have been looking better by the year since the bees have been around more and more. Also, until the bees showed up, I’d never seen a hummingbird at this house, so when I started hearing them, I got a feeder and there must be 8 of those tiny little zips around here now. I highly encourage finding some harmony with nature and letting grass be a relic from past times! I water less, mow the same, and the whole nature game changed for me.
